The unique Cape Breton Highlands experience
History of Cape Breton Anderson House

Nestled in White Point, a traditional Cape Breton Highlands fishing village, the Anderson's house was built in 1974 by Mickey and Harry Anderson and design by Micheal Fisher.

Mickey and Harry Anderson, were both professors teaching in Montreal. The Anderson family camped at Black Brook for four consecutive summers before building the house. Cape Breton was ideal for the couple as Mickey liked the oceans and Harry loved the mountains. White Point was the perfect place for them to build their summer vacation home. With the help of the local community and legends such as Henry Briand, the Andersons made their dream a reality.
